Leadership Agility & Motivation: Navigating Through Complexity
Program Details
About the Program
Develop the reflexes to navigate complexity and the insight to motivate your team.
Most leaders default to two habits under pressure: they motivate people the way they'd want to be motivated themselves, and they lead every situation with the same handful of reflexes that have worked before. What drives the person next to you is often different from what drives you, and the move that worked in a familiar situation can be the wrong one when the stakes, the pressure, or the players change. This two-day program builds both capabilities together: the insight to understand what actually motivates the people you lead, and the agility to expand your own leadership range to meet the situation in front of you, not just the one you're used to. You’ll return to work with an enhanced ability to motivate your team, make smarter decisions, align key stakeholders on conflicting priorities, and guide your organization effectively during times of significant complexity and change.
Experience
On day one, you'll use your personalized results from the MotiCode assessment to identify your own motivational drivers and learn to recognize how differently others are driven, so you can lead people on their terms instead of your own. In addition, you’ll explore the common obstacles that can diminish intrinsic motivation and develop an action plan for making small, intentional shifts that increase alignment and energy on your team.
The second day begins by reviewing your personal results from the leadership agility self-assessment, which identifies your current agility level: Expert, Achiever, or Catalyst. You'll utilize these results through applied decision labs as you explore the three levels and four dimensions of leadership agility and the specific friction points where your own reflexes break down. You'll practice adaptive moves that deepen your perspective and strengthen alignment across your team even when the situation is unfamiliar. You'll leave with a clear action plan with concrete tools for expanding your agility, recognizing that it isn’t about reacting faster, but thinking, deciding, and aligning differently, especially when the pressure is on.
