What was your initial reason or motivation for pursuing an MS in Supply Chain Management?
I’m currently in strategic sourcing and I wanted to learn from the best. A good friend who worked in my organization completed Minnesota Carlson's MS in Supply Chain Management program and said amazing, phenomenal things about the people and the program overall.
Why did you choose Minnesota Carlson?
Minnesota Carlson is extremely military-friendly, and everything with the VA has been absolutely flawless. The Carlson School of Management also has a great reputation throughout the Twin Cities. I completed my MBA and enjoyed the faculty and lessons taught throughout that program.

I really enjoyed my international business class, it has really helped me be a global citizen as I work with suppliers throughout the world.
What has been your most valuable Minnesota Carlson experience or lesson so far?
I really enjoyed my International Environment of Business class, it has really helped me be a global citizen as I work with suppliers throughout the world. I also work for a Japanese company and that has helped me to align with different aspects of culture that my own company has. The Carlson Business Career Center is also great. They helped me to negotiate a 15% raise with my current company after I completed my MBA.
What advice would you give to potential applicants to gain admission to Minnesota Carlson's MS in Supply Chain Management program?
Take the risk and bet on yourself, get going quickly, and be proactive with the requirements. You won’t regret it.
