With great changes coming to the Carlson School, here’s a look back at the building’s humble beginnings before it joined the Minneapolis skyline.
The groundbreaking in 1995 came with much fanfare as Goldy Gopher supplied the honorary shovels for the event after emerging from a tunnel of briefcases, symbolic of the world of business. Construction took three years, with the building opening for classes in 1998. More information about the upcoming Connecting Carlson project.
