Start with business and technical fundamentals over the summer and progress on to core and advance analytics in the following semesters with the same peers. Learn from expert faculty in the Information and Decision Sciences department and master tools and concepts such as:

Experiential, hands-on learning
Experiential learning is woven into the program through the Carlson Analytics Lab. The Lab, which operates as a professional consulting firm, provides opportunities for you to put theory to practice. Add these experiences to your resume:
- Live Case competitions: Work in teams to answer real business questions from client companies using data. Compete for the top prize, as decided by the sponsor company.
- Full-stack analytics project: Practice managing a data analytics consulting project from beginning to end. Faculty will provide guidance as you meet with clients weekly and work towards delivering recommendations to stakeholders.
