Biography
Yan Jin brings more than two decades of investment experience to the classroom. Over the course of his career, he has served as Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at hedge funds, trading both traditional assets—such as equities and fixed income—and cryptocurrencies. He has also held Managing Director roles at global investment banks, where he led proprietary global macro trading businesses. He holds two Ph.D. degrees: one in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and another in Business from Columbia Business School. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Finance Department at Minnesota Carlson.
