Biography

Tom Torralbas is a Lecturer in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management, where he teaches Business Analytics with a focus on applied, data-driven decision making.

His courses integrate tools such as R and Excel and cover topics including data visualization, regression, A/B testing, and optimization. He emphasizes translating analytical results into clear business recommendations.

A central component of his teaching is a multi-module, team-based project in which student groups represent distinct sales regions and apply course concepts to make region-specific decisions using real-world data.

In addition to his teaching role, Tom is the President of DATA-CPG, LLC, providing analytics consulting to the consumer packaged goods industry. He previously served as a Principal Consultant at Circana (IRI) and held leadership roles at PepsiCo, Conagra Brands, and Reckitt.
