Thad Davis

Thad Davis is the Managing Director at Cain Brothers, a division of KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he serves as the Head of Healthcare Technology and Services as well as the Head of Healthcare Private Placements. Prior to joining Cain Brothers, Thad was a Senior Managing Director and Equity Partner at Leerink Partners. Thad was responsible for leading Leerink’s private capital markets franchise, while additionally advising clients on special situations and restructurings. 

Previously in his career, Thad served as the Head of Healthcare Investment Banking for the Americas at HSBC, where he successfully re-launched HSBC's Americas Healthcare Investment Banking practice. Thad formerly was on the global healthcare team at UBS and then a Managing Director at Jefferies. Thad focused on the healthcare sector as a Manager of Strategy with Caremark, where he led strategic initiatives within the prescription benefit, specialty pharmacy, and disease management lines of business. 

Thad started as a strategy and technology consultant with several leading firms. Thad serves on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee for the New York Common Pantry, and is a Trustee of Christ Church New York (Methodist). Thad holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
