Mark Michienzi

Mark Michienzi, CPA is a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Accounting at the Carlson School of Management. He received his B.S. in Accounting from St. Cloud State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He has been a Certified Public Accountant within the State of Minnesota since 2018.

Prior to joining academia, he worked in public accounting in the audit function at KPMG LLP before joining the Internal Audit team at Donaldson Company. Within this position, he was involved in the planning, execution, and follow-up of risk-based audits such as those related to Sarbanes Oxley, FCPA, and sustainability frameworks.
