Biography
Bhupinder Juneja (Bhupi) is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. He focuses on teaching data analytics to both undergraduate and graduate students. Prior to his academic role, Bhupi built a 17-year career in industry, which included a decade as a Data Scientist and Lab Advocate with IBM SPSS R&D..He earned his Ph.D. in Computational Biology in 2022 from the University of Minnesota. His dissertation provided an empirical analysis of the socio-economic and clinical drivers of COVID-19 mortality, with a specific focus on the influence of supply-side and demand-side moderators. This research was completed under the advisorship of Professor Kingshuk K. Sinha, the Department Chair and Elmer L. Andersen Chair in Sustainable Supply Chain.
