Sherri Walsh

Sherri Walsh is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GEM Health, with more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience across leading organizations in the provider, payer, and PBM markets. A seasoned general manager and senior operator, she has extensive experience leading large, complex teams in the US and globally, with end-to-end accountability for strategy, P&L performance, operations, client delivery, and talent development. Sherri is known for scaling organizations, improving performance, and building efficient, consumer-friendly solutions that connect business, clinical, and technology needs.

Sherri is also the founder of VitalFlame Consulting, providing healthcare operations and fire service consulting focused on practical, results-driven execution.

Committed to community service, Sherri served more than 20 years as a Volunteer Firefighter and Assistant Fire Chief, co-founded a non-profit supporting women in the fire service, and has served on the board of a women’s leadership organization. She currently serves as a Planning Commission board member and mentors women through formal development programs.

Sherri is a Registered Nurse with an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. She and her husband, Tim, have been married 31 years, have two grown daughters, and live in Carver, Minnesota.
