Luis Moreno has a strong passion for personal and professional development. He has leveraged his experience working in 7 Fortune 500 companies to write, speak, and conduct training on Human Centered Leadership and Emotional Intelligence, sharing perspectives and techniques with thousands of people around the world.
He trains executives, leaders, and professionals to lead in a more people-oriented and human way. He has published articles sharing his perspectives in multiple publications that have been used as reference by various organizations for discussions around implementing change in the workplace to improve the environment and the culture. Luis is a strong ambassador for people, education, and humanity. He talks with schools, colleges, and universities globally to engage in conversations with faculty, administrative staff, and students about new ideas about leadership, teamwork, and the workplace.
Luis teaches as an Adjunct Professor at the Carlson School of Management and conducts training to executives and leaders with Carlson Executive Education. He is a frequent guest speaker in various universities in various countries. Luis has an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Carlson School and is a Public Policy Fellow at the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Minnesota State Government gave Luis a “Distinguished Service Award” due to his contributions in race relations, justice, community service, education, and civil and human rights. Luis also works with U.S. Competitiveness and Shared Prosperity initiatives as a member of the Young American Leaders Program (YALP) at Harvard Business School.
