Karen Isaacson

Karen Isaacson is Vice President of Operations for the Rosemount Measurement and Analytical business unit at Emerson Automation Solutions.
Karen is responsible for the final assembly and distribution of eight product families manufactured at the Shakopee factory. She oversees more than 750 employees working seven days/week across three shifts. Karen is also responsible for the collaboration and transfer of global distribution standards and production lines across the Rosemount Global Distribution Network which includes 10 sites.
Throughout her career, she has been a champion of lean and six sigma initiatives resulting in improved safety, quality, and productivity along with corresponding cost reductions. Karen was responsible for the start-up of Rosemount’s Shakopee production lines – a major investment needed to meet customer demand, support company growth and provide risk mitigation.
She has served in a variety of positions while with Rosemount working in such areas as customer care, supply chain supplier performance, and information technology. Prior to Rosemount, Karen worked at the Sherco Generation facility for Xcel Energy. Karen is a frequent presenter and includes a presentation discussing manufacturing perspectives at Rosemount’s North American Sales Meeting.
Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Dakota in Mechanical Engineering. She is a professional member of the Society of Women Engineers, a mentor in the Rosemount mentor program, and currently serves on the Dunwoody Board of Trustees.
