Spark an early connection with your fellow Carlson School classmates this fall! During the Freshmen Retreat Weekend, you’ll meet new friends, team up for service projects, and start building the personal network that will support you throughout the next four years...and beyond.

Mississippi River Tour (Registration full)

When: September 21-23
Where: Mississippi River, Minneapolis, MN
Capacity: 60 students
Departure/Return: Students will depart at 2:30 p.m. on 9/21 and return on 9/23 at 12:00 p.m. from the East River Flats, Minneapolis, MN.

  • Paddle the Mississippi River with your classmates.
  • Overnight camping at Fort Snelling State Park and Grey Cloud Island. Activities focused on relationships, reflection, and commitment to action.
  • Carlson School student leaders and Wilderness Inquiry staff.

 

St. Croix River Tour

When: September 21-23 Where: St. Croix River, Taylors Falls, MN Capacity: 40 students Departure/Return: Students will depart at 2:30 p.m. on 9/21 and return on 9/23 at 12:00 p.m. from the East River Flats, Minneapolis, MN. Paddle a great river of our area during peak fall colors. Overnight camping at Interstate State Park. Activities with classmates. Carlson School student leaders and Wilderness Inquiry staff. Wilderness Inquiry

Founded in 1978, Wilderness Inquiry operates throughout North America providing students the experience the outdoors in a manner that provides new perspectives on the natural world and the power of positive community spirit. Since its founding, more than 500K people have participated in more than 9100 trips.
