Shark Tank to Hold Auditions at Carlson School
University students, staff, faculty, and alumni with a great product or business that needs an investment to propel it forward, have an exclusive opportunity to meet the casting team of Shark Tank on April 25.
Shark Tank, the Emmy-winning business-themed show is continuing the search for the best entrepreneurs with the best businesses and products that America has to offer. The show features “The Sharks” – tough, self-made, multi-millionaire and billionaire tycoons who give budding entrepreneurs the chance to make their American dreams come true; potentially securing deals that could make them millionaires.
Shark Tank’s private casting call for University of Minnesota students, staff, faculty, and alumni will be held on Saturday, April 25th from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Carlson School of Management. Please pre-register and bring a completed application to the audition.
University alumni and students are also welcome to attend the University-wide BizPitch competition in which undergraduate students compete for $1,300 in cash prizes by pitching new business ideas to a panel of investors, entrepreneurs and attorneys. The Entrepreneurship Club will be hosting this contest on April 23rd from 12-1 p.m. in room 2-260T of the Carlson School. Immediately following this event, judges from this competition will be available to provide feedback to students and alumni seeking to participate in the Shark Tank tryouts.
