Yeonka (Sophia) Kim is a Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. Previously, she received a MILR from the Cornell University and a B.A. in social studies from the Ewha Women's University in South Korea. Her research focuses on work-family interface, emotions, and diversity and mistreatment in organizations.

Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as a manager in HR Management/Chairman's office at SKC and SK Telesys in South Korea.
