Yeonka (Sophia) Kim is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Work and Organizations at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She received a B.A. in social studies from Ewha Womans University in South Korea and an M.I.L.R (Master of Industrial and Labor Relations with a concentration in Human Resources and Organizations) from Cornell University. Her research focuses on emotions and diversity in organizations as well as work-family intersection. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as a manager at SKC/SK Telesys in South Korea.
