Biography

Robert Ribciuc teaches Marketing, Pricing, and Marketing Analytics at the Carlson School of Management.

Ribciuc is the managing partner of EBITDA Catalyst, a Minneapolis-based consulting firm that advises companies and private equity firms on profitability and value creation through pricing strategy, revenue management, and optimizing their offering design. He has “done the job” as Head of Pricing or managing P&L at multiple global organizations including Honeywell, Klarna, and Cargill.

Ribciuc is frequent speaker on podcasts and at industry events, and his writing has been published or quoted on Yahoo Finance, Kiplinger, Wikipedia, Impact Pricing, LinkedIn News, SeekingAlpha.com, Nasdaq.com, CPG Data Insights, and at the Professional Pricing Society.

Ribciuc is passionate about neurodiversity, mental health, and disability inclusion, and he serves on the boards of Disability:IN Minnesota and Rangam Consultants. He also advises pro-bono a variety of nonprofits with pricing and monetization opportunities.

A first-generation American from Romania, Ribciuc has a BA in Applied Math from Harvard University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, a CPP from the Professional Pricing Society, and a CFA from the CFA Institute. He holds a NACD.DC certification for Board Service Preparedness from the National Association of Corporate Directors.

In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, tennis, theater, and cooking with his family.
