"I chose Carlson because of the close ties it has with local companies, the experiential learning portion of the curriculum, the Medical Industry Leadership Institute, and the collaborative learning space."

My Story

I am a local - I was born and raised in the Twin Cities. I received a degree in psychology from Carleton College where I played soccer and ultimate frisbee. I worked in healthcare IT before pursuing my MBA. I lead implementations of electronic medical records at large-scale healthcare systems across the country. I decided to attend business school because I was looking for something that allowed for more creative/strategic-thinking within the medical industry.

Why Carlson?

I chose Carlson because of the close ties it has with local companies, the experiential learning portion of the curriculum, the Medical Industry Leadership Institute, and the collaborative learning space that is promoted within Carlson.

Living in the Twin Cities

I am slightly biased as I grew up in the Twin Cities. There are endless restaurants and breweries to visit, theater and concerts to attend, festivities to participate in, and more. There is always something going on. I have a number of favorite activities depending on the season - during the summer it's attending outside concerts and biking to breweries, during the fall it's apple-picking and football games, during the winter it's bonfires and walks in the snow, and during the spring it's spending as much time outside as possible.
