Myles Shaver is Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota where he holds the Pond Family Chair in the Teaching and Advancement of Free Enterprise Principles. He has received numerous teaching awards for his classes on Corporate Strategy and Corporate Responsibility. Shaver's research has been published in leading scholarly journals and he has been invited to present his research at conferences and universities around the world. He received the Academy of Management Business Policy and Strategy Division’s Irwin Outstanding Educator Award for contributions to MBA and Executive Education, the Ross of School of Business (University of Michigan) Distinguished PhD Alumni award. Poets and Quants includes Shaver in their profile of the “World’s 50 Best Business School Professors.” He holds a PhD from the University of Michigan.
