MN Cup Addresses Key Topics Specific to Women Entrepreneurs at Candid Conversations

On Wednesday, December 3, MN Cup hosted an event to support women entrepreneurs developing and leading scalable, high-growth businesses called Candid Conversations at Treehouse Health in Minneapolis. The event is part of MN Cup's Women in Entrepreneurship series.

Over 50 women entrepreneurs attended the event that featured networking, discussion and a panel presentation led by moderator,  Joy Lindsay, Startec Investments and the following panelists:

These successful women business leaders talked about how to measure success, the role and value of mentors, being an assertive woman leader and how to acquire sources of financing. The event concluded with small table discussions led by the panelists and final closing thoughts that addressed common discussion themes. Candid Conversations was the first of three women events to be held this year. The next events are on January 22 and February 17.

January 22 - Speed Mentoring at Cafe Inc. The 2015 women’s series cohort will participate in a mentoring opportunity that will connect each entrepreneur with 4 business professionals – both women and men – who will provide direct feedback on their early-stage venture.
