Recognized for year's most significant article in human resource management.

Professor Connie Wanberg, the Industrial Relations Faculty Excellence Chair and next Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education, recently won the Academy of Management's Human Resources Division's Scholarly Achievement Award.

The award was given for "The Job-Search Grind: Perceived Progress, Self-Reactions, and Self-Regulation of Search Effort," which was published in the Academy of Management Journal in 2010. Wanberg's co-authors include HRIR PhD graduate Jing Zhu and Edwin can Hooft.

The Scholarly Achievement Award is presented annually to the author(s) of the most significant article in human resource management published in recognized journals and research annuals.
