Joly heads the country's leading retailer of technology products, services and solutions, with approximately 1,600 Best Buy stores in North America and more than $40 billion in annual revenue.
Since joining Best Buy in September 2012, Joly has led the company’s Renew Blue transformation. As a result, Best Buy has delivered improved domestic comparable sales and profit; taken steps to create a highly engaged, fully mobilized, and highly skilled organization; significantly improved customer satisfaction; delivered an enhanced store with the addition of thousands of shops-in-shop developed in partnership with many of the world’s leading technology companies; and developed richer online and mobile shopping experience.
Joly has served as CEO of Carlson, a global hospitality and travel company. He previously led Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Vivendi Universal Games and Electronic Data Systems’ French business. He serves on the boards of Ralph Lauren Corp., the Retail Industry Leaders Association, and the Minnesota Business Partnership.
