John will present, "Aligning Channel Structures and Incentives to Promote Profitable Growth: What Works?," on Feb. 22. Register today.
Carlson School Professor George John, associate dean of Faculty and Research and General Mills/Paul S Gerot Chair in Marketing, headlines the next Breakfast Speaker Series where he will present, "Aligning Channel Structures and Incentives to Promote Profitable Growth: What Works?," at the Carlson School on Wednesday, February 22.
Major channel re-structuring events--in industries as diverse as autos and soft-drinks--have changed channel performance incentives, yet marketers lack an understanding of the linkages between channel structures and performance incentives. John will present work on aligning incentives more effectively with channel structures, including an actionable framework for understanding these often counter-intuitive linkages.
The Carlson School Breakfast Speaker Series is a speaker series that allows faculty, alumni, and the business community an opportunity to discuss a relevant topic impacting today's businesses. Registration and networking begins at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast and the speaker from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the atrium of the Carlson School of Management building.
Tickets to the Carlson School Breakfast Speaker Series, which includes a full breakfast, are $18 per person and may be purchased online.
