Non-profit headhunters and University of Minnesota alumni featured in the Star Tribune
Lars Leafblad, ‘06 MBA, and fellow co-founder of Ballinger|Leafblad, Inc., Marcia Ballinger, ’82 BS, are helping reshape leadership in Minnesota’s civic sector. An article in the Star Tribune featured the duo who serve as headhunters for non-profit, educational, and civic searches in the state. Ballinger | Leafblad recently oversaw a national search to replace the president of the Initiative Foundation in Little Falls, MN, with Mat Varilek, COO of the Small Business Administration in Washington, D.C. and was also responsible for helping the regional Ronald McDonald House Charities find its new CEO in 2015. Ballinger|Leafblad is one of the few search firms to work exclusively in the civic sector, and the specialization is highly valued by clients.
