On March 27, more than 300 attendees gathered at the Carlson School to share research findings, business breakthroughs, and diverse perspectives on the state of Minnesota tech, including wins, opportunities and challenges as part of the new Tech Cities conference.

The day kicked off with a presentation by Pandora Data Scientist Dr. David Reiley, who explained how he measures true causal effects of online advertising, including offline purchases. For the remainder of the afternoon, participants explored a wide array of topics from hiring global tech talent and empowering women in technology, to intellectual property and innovation, to data analytics within organizations. The conference concluded with a networking reception where attendees shared lessons learned and forged new connections with fellow tech professionals.
