Jennie-O Turkey Store President Glenn Leitch will present "Successfully Navigating Opportunities and Challenges in Global Business" on Wednesday, April 15 at 3:30 p.m. at the Carlson School as part of the Global Matters speaker series. He will share insights he's gained throughout his 30 years' experience working in the global food industry and provide some practical ideas for how companies and professionals can be successful in international business.

Jennie-O Turkey Store is one of five Hormel Foods operating divisions. It has annual sales of more than $1.6 billion., and exports goods to more than 30 countries throughout the world.
Leitch began his career in Canada in 1982, holding positions in pork and beef segments as well as brand management and new product development. He also spent five years in international protein sales. He became director of commodity sales at Jennie-O Turkey Store in 1996, and was promoted to senior vice president of the commodity and supply division in 2001. In 2011, he was named general manager at Jennie-O Turkey Store before being promoted to his current position as group vice president of Hormel Foods and president of Jennie-O Turkey Store.
Leitch holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Manitoba. He is a past board member of the U.S. Poultry and Egg Export Council, a current member of the board of directors for the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association, and is on the executive board of the National Turkey Federation.
