Ingersoll Rand continues to support the CHRLS HR Tomorrow Conference.
Each year, the popular HR Tomorrow Conference closes with a well-attended Networking Reception that provides HR professionals with a chance to unwind, debrief and network with each other. For the second year in a row, the Reception is being sponsored by Ingersoll Rand.
Ingersoll Rand has chosen to sponsor, and participate in, the HR Tomorrow Conference to raise company awareness and engage with MA-HRIR students. They also want to maintain a strong connection to the business community in the Twin Cities to attract talent and network with other professionals.
"Ingersoll Rand's strategy requires our people to constantly innovate and create a progressive, diverse, and inclusive culture," says Rachel Usher, '10 MA-HRIR, HR generalist at Ingersoll Rand. "The HR Tomorrow Conference provides the opportunity to share our company's experiences within the HR profession and learn best practices from other organizations, especially as they relate to our key strategies."
"We are so pleased to welcome Ingersoll Rand back as the Reception Sponsor at this year's HR Tomorrow Conference," adds Anne Obst, External Relations Coordinator for the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies. "This is their second year in that role, and third year they've been a part of the conference."
"The opportunity to learn from other organizations about their practices, structures, and strategies in overcoming their challenges has been inspiring," Usher says.
Ingersoll Rand has had a strong relationship with the University of Minnesota's MA-HRIR Program. The company not only recruits several graduate students for internships and their Accelerated Development Program, but also works with the MA-HRIR program's student organization, Graduate Society of Human Resources Leaders, and participates in resume reviews/mock trials for students.
"Our close relationship with the MA-HRIR program's students and faculty is key for Ingersoll Rand," Usher says. "We are pleased to continue our engagement and strong relationship with the program by again sponsoring the HR Tomorrow Conference."
"By sponsoring the Networking Reception, Ingersoll Rand makes it possible for us to offer a great setting for conference attendees to connect with old friends, make new connections, and share their experiences from the day," Obst says. "We are very appreciative of Ingersoll Rand's continued support of our students, faculty, and alumni."
