Carlson School Takes 2nd at International HR Case Competition
The Carlson School took second place at the fourth annual International HR Case Competition, which took place at the school from November 10 to 12 and was hosted by the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies. Queensland University of Technology of Australia took first place and Yonsei University of South Korea took third.
Carlson School team members include, from left, Robert Chai, Melia Zulkarnain, Jake Peggar, and Jee Young (Jeeny) Seo.
Six teams, representing Australia, China, India, South Korea, and the United States, competed to solve a pressing HR issue facing lead sponsor Land O'Lakes, and had less than 24 hours to do so. This competition is the only truly international, graduate-level, HR-focused event of its kind in the world.
Other event sponsors include the Ford Motor Company, LG Academy, General Mills, H.B. Fuller, and Ingersoll Rand.
