Carlson School alumni, faculty, staff, and friends came together in a spirit of generosity on November 16, helping to raise more than $180,000 on Give to the Max Day. The school’s crowdfunding website collected $57,341.55, which unlocked a $50,000 match. The matching funds were provided by Catherine Mathis, ’75 BSB, ’79 MBA, and her husband, Bob Burchell.
In addition to the crowdfunding site, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends collectively raised over $71,000. The total amount raised by the Carlson School was enough to receive a $7,000 prize from the University of Minnesota Foundation for raising the second-most dollars amongst all U of M Give to the Max Day campaigns.
All Give to the Max Day gifts and donors are included as part of the Driven campaign, which supports leadership, transformation, innovation, and engagement.
