The Carlson School will host the 16th annual Elite 8 Brand Management Case Competition from November 3 to 5.
Focused on real-world brand management challenges, the Elite Eight Case Competition is one of the most prominent student-led case competitions in the nation. The competition brings together top brand management students, professionals, and academics from across the country for a three-day event highlighting the challenges faced by brand managers in today’s competitive market.
In 2015, as a lead sponsor of the event, Prologis watched the nation's preeminent MBA students devise solutions to a current brand management challenge. Competitors were asked to provide a proposal for creating and delivering the digital experience that would build and differentiate the Prologis brand in the U.S. Additionally, teams were expected to give recommendations that addressed the needs of customers and private investors. The MBA students from the Kellogg school of Management, Northwestern University, won the competition and took home the $10,000 prize.
This year, the Elite Eight competition begins Thursday, November 3, when the case and sponsor will be revealed. The presentations will be delivered Saturday, November 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Carlson School. The competition's progress can be followed on Twitter at @CarlsonElite8 or using the hashtag #Elite8Case.
