Full Stack Saint Paul aims to develop Minnesota’s capital city as a hub of tech and innovation.

So the group, a collaboration of public and private players, is a natural fit as the keynote presenter at the 2018 edition of Tech Cities, the conference that explores the intersection of business and technology in Minnesota.

This year’s event, the fourth annual presented by the Carlson School of Management and Greater MSP, takes place March 2 and features speakers from companies such as Google, LinkedIn, C.H. Robinson, Optum, and Target.

In the keynote session, software entrepreneur Scott Burns, St. Paul City Council Member Chris Tolbert, and St. Paul Director of Information Technology Sharon Kennedy Vickers will offer insights from their work with Full Stack Saint Paul. The public-private partnership, which emerged from the St. Paul Innovation Cabinet in 2016, has worked to bring more tech jobs to the city through real estate initiatives, talent development, community building, and more.
