Multiple Case Study: From Research Problem to Research Design in a Doctoral Setting—A Student’s Experiential Musings.

Current Activities

  • 1. Understanding solver participation in crowdsourcing contests (joint work with Prof. Gordon Burtch & Prof. Mani Subramani)

    In this project, we are examining the factors that influence crowd members' decision to participate in a crowdsourcing contests. We particularly examine issues of status, reputation, and incentives.

    2. User behaviour in crowdsourced Investing (joint work with Prof. Mani Subramani & Prof. Aks Zaheer)

    In this project, we study a novel form of crowdsourcing network: crowdsourced investing. We are particularly interested in user's decision to form and instrumental ties with other users for investment expertise. ​
