I am a 5th year PhD Candidate in the Information and Decision Science Department at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.My research seeks to identify and quantify effective approaches to the design and implementation of the entities that represent firms and brands in customer interactions, (e.g., AI-enabled conversational agents, digital brand personalities). To causally identify the merits and detriments of alternative design characteristics, I have employed a combination of controlled laboratory experiments, as well as field experiments in partnership with several US-based retailers.

My work on this subject has won awards for Runner Up Best Conference Paper at 2018 INFORMS Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST), and Runner Up Best Student Paper at (CIST) 2019. I have also won grants from the Marketing Science Institute, and the Carlson School of Management.
