Julie N. Wellmann is a doctoral candidate in the Work and Organizations department at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She received her M.A. in political science from Northwestern University and her B.A. with honors in political science from James Madison College at Michigan State University. She has worked as an investment banking analyst in New York city, and in corporate development at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and in Philadelphia. Her research interests focus on gender and careers, inclusive organizations, and workplace well-being. In particular, using a multidisciplinary and multi-method approach, she examines the intersection of demographics, individual differences, and workplace norms and characteristics.
