Steve Goodyear started as the Director of the Institute for Research in Marketing, an integral part of the Carlson School of Management, in September 2015. As Institute Director, he manages an enterprise responsible for integrating the research programs of the Carlson School with those of local and national organizations engaged in progressive marketing research programs. In addition, Goodyear teaches marketing courses as an adjunct faculty member in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Carlson School.
He also serves as a faculty lead for the Carlson Global Institute delivering international programs for MBA students.
John Clapham became the program coordinator for the Institute for Research in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management in May 2018. In this position, John draws on his experience in working with academics, executives, and media members to help support and promote cutting-edge research. Prior to the Carlson School, he served as the executive assistant to the dean of the University's Graduate School. He has a bachelor's degree in music, with a minor/concentration in business (arts administration) from The University of Texas at Austin.
