Steve Goodyear started as the Director of the Institute for Research in Marketing, an integral part of the Carlson School of Management, in September 2015. As Institute Director, he manages an enterprise responsible for integrating the research programs of the Carlson School with those of local and national organizations engaged in progressive marketing research programs. In addition, Goodyear teaches marketing courses as an adjunct faculty member in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Carlson School.
He also serves as a faculty lead for the Carlson Global Institute delivering international programs for MBA students.
Ashley Beukelman is the new Program Manager for the Institute for Research (IRM) in Marketing at the Carlson School of Management. As the Program Manager, Ashley will serve as a liaison with the IRM Advisory Board, Marketing Faculty and Students to communicate and collaborate on various Marketing Research programs and projects. She will also work on the annual Ignite Conference on October 3rd.
Prior to joining Carlson, she worked in the Healthcare and Finance world. At Optum, Ashley was a Trade Show & Events Manager and also had a role as a Research Manager. Prior to that she worked at Northland Capital Markets as a Research Coordinator and U.S. Bank as a Marketing Manager.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications: Public Relations and Marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a Masters Degree in Business Communications from the University of St. Thomas.
