CHRLS Newsletter September 2024
The CHRLS Alumni Association board kicked off their strategic planning and delved into conversations about the vision and impact the board seeks to have on the HRIR student body, alumni community, and beyond.
During our lunch, we welcomed 1st years to the program, caught up with 2nd years, faculty, and fellow board members. Thank you to the alums and students for spending your day with us in person and virtually. We look forward to sharing what's in store for the year including our Alumni Mentoring Program, the 45th HR Tomorrow Conference, and more!
Speaking of Work Series: The MN State Fair
Our featured speaker, Sara Donaldson from the MN Agricultural Society Board of Managers gave us an insider's look. We learned the history, the fair as a unique workplace, and its economic impact on Minnesota.
Speaking of Work launched last year with the goal of inviting practitioners to share insights, best practices, and facilitate discussions related to the realm of work and organizations. It is a place for learning, curiosity, and all things work!
Become a Mentor Today!
Interested in becoming a mentor? We'd love to hear from you! We are starting our search for mentors for the new school year! Mentors attend a kick-off meeting, mentor-mentee breakfast, and meet with mentees virtually or in-person.
