Student Identity Information & Resources

Please know that it is important to the Carlson Global Institute that you feel equipped and supported during your time abroad. Health and safety will look different to each of you, depending on a number of factors: race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, economic status, etc. If at any point you would like to discuss how your identity might impact your experience abroad, we would be glad to speak with you and we are always available to meet. You are not alone in your questions.

Below is a collection of resources that can support you in your preparation for and time abroad. For information on financial resources, please refer to our Finances page.

Are we missing something? If you know of a resource that could be added to this page, please send it to us at cgi@umn.edu!
