On Tuesday, November 14, MIN-Corps will present the 2nd Annual Women Innovators Conference! The Women Innovators Conference is a professional development summit designed to help STEM-trained female innovators connect the dots between their ideas and achieving a positive, significant impact. Last year’s conference attracted over 170 women students, staff and faculty from the University of Minnesota, and Twin Cities professionals.
This year's opening speaker is Marie Johnson, founder and CEO of AUM Cardiovascular, as she shares how her husband's early death led her to found a medical device company. The closing speaker will be Lisa Schlosser, CTO of FindLaw at Thomson Reuters. She will share how a math major took a winding path to become a senior tech executive.
In between, we'll have breakouts clustered around two themes: Innovation Toolbox and Career Development. The breakout panelists are a who's who of Twin Cities female corporate innovators, startup founders and innovation experts.
