Nash Shaikh currently serves as the Director, Chief of Staff to the President and CEO at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. In this pivotal role, Nash oversees the coordination and management of deliverables for the President & CEO, with a primary focus on strategic planning and execution. She leads the internal strategy initiatives, guiding and implementing the organization's enterprise strategy. Nash also acts as a key liaison for the board of directors and executive leadership team, tracking high-priority and confidential initiatives for the President & CEO.
Nash brings a wealth of experience to her current position, having held various roles in human resources since joining Blue Cross in 2013. Notably, she served as the director of human resources technology and operations before her promotion to the current role in 2021. Her career spans leadership and technology-focused roles at renowned organizations such as Ascena Retail Group, Chevron, Unilever, and L&T Infotech.
Educationally, Nash holds an MBA in human resources from the University of Mumbai and a master's degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai (India). She also completed a diploma in advertising and public relations and graduated from Stanford's Executive Leadership program.
Beyond her professional commitments, Nash actively contributes to her community and industry. She sits on the board of directors for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation and serves as the Chair of the Habitat for Humanity Board (Twin Cities). A former president of the India Association of Minnesota, Nash has held various leadership roles on its board of directors and was a board member for Leading Edge Human Resource Network. Passionate about networking and community engagement, she hosts and produces the show, "To the Power of N – Networking." Nash, a dedicated mother of two, with a 12-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son, is married to a professional working at U.S. Bank. Her favorite activities include teaching Bollywood dance, practicing yoga, and exploring new destinations through travel.
