Anna is a 25-year veteran executive producer and producer of commercials, experiential, VR, and live performances. Anna entered production in her hometown of Minneapolis, where she worked with the legendary Jordan Cronenweth, Prince, and the Flyte Time Producing Team Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. It was the work with Prince that brought her to Los Angeles. She came, and she stayed. One of her first producing opportunities in Los Angeles was managing VFX-based directors and post-production at Sony Imageworks.
Her experience as a producer places her in demand among best-in-class production companies, including Supply & Demand, a WhiteLabel product, PRETTYBIRD, Psyop, Logan, and Mirada. Anna’s history at Mirada spans over 12 (14 now) years and includes more than 40 projects with some of the studio’s most high-profile clients, such as Exxon Mobil, Target, Nike, Fiat, Amazon, and Disney. During this period, Anna has consistently and successfully managed Mirada’s most challenging creative, financial, and technical projects, from 2017’s micro-budget Trailer Park collaboration for YouTube’s Lace Up to the largest production budget Mirada has ever had: the $8.5 million Exxon Mobil Global launch campaign. Her years of experience at the company have integrated every discipline, from animation to live action to installations and live performances. In an ever-changing industry such as ours, Anna Joseph has been on the bleeding edge of that change. This is best exemplified by the CG facial recognition animation and live-action integration of the groundbreaking launch campaign of “The End” for the Black Eyed Peas. This work culminated in Mirada and Anna winning a Grammy for Best Short Form Video.
Anna has worked with some of the most celebrated directors in the business, including Gore Verbinski, Paul Middleditch, Sam Bayer, Joe Pytka, Jeffery Plansker, Lucy Walker, Margo Weathers, Max Malkin, Robert Logevall, Olivier Gondry, Arni & Kinski, and Mathew Cullen. Her work with director Paul Middleditch has consistently netted him on the top 50 directors in the world list, Super Bowl commercials, and garnered him AdForum’s #2 commercial of 2017. For Mirada, Anna took young directors under her wing and grew them into talent in demand. She has worked with legendary celebrity talent including Prince, Muhammed Ali, Tiger Woods, LL Cool J, Missy Elliott, Joe Buck, Sofia Vergara, and Katy Perry. She also introduced Adele to the world in her music video debut “Chasing Pavements."
