This course provides students with a unique opportunity to work on cross-cultural teams with students at the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship to evaluate a medical technology or service developed by the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.  

Course overview:

Dates: Sunday, June 4 to Thursday, June 15, 2017
Pre-departure sessions (online): April 22, May 6, and May 20. 10:00 am-noon

Additionally, there will be two separate online modules (April 29 and May 13) in which students will have one week to independently review and complete materials.

Created as a partnership between Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, Karolinska Institute and Carlson School of Management, this course challenges students with a medical industry valuation experience. The immersion portion of this class will take place in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. The city of almost 1 million is the cultural, media, political, and economic center of the country. It is located on Sweden's southeast coast on the Baltic Sea. The city is home to major Swedish banks and insurance companies, as well as famous clothes retailer H&M. The Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES) is a collaboration between Stockholm’s top five schools. They were established to provide the member schools’ students with education, training, and inspiration in applied entrepreneurship.
