Smart Data Pricing Workshop

The goal of this multi-disciplinary workshop is to bring together industry professionals and researchers from information systems, computer science and engineering, mathematics, and economics to discuss ongoing research and new directions in network pricing innovation, technology, and policy issues. The program will include presentations and panel discussions from both academia and industry. The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Jon Peha of CMU, who has served at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as its Chief Technologist, and in various other roles in the White house and at the OSTP and USAID. Prof. Peha will be sharing his experience and views on net neutrality issues. Prof. Mung Chiang, Dean of the College of Engineering of Purdue University, will moderate an industry-academia panel discussion.
