Marcia L. Page, ’83 MBA
Marcia Page is Executive Chair of Värde Partners, a global alternative investment management firm with $13 billion in assets under management. She co-founded the firm in 1993 and has overseen every aspect of Värde’s growth, ranging from the development of the original investment thesis, to the raising of each fund, to the crafting of the firm’s investor communications, to the development of the firm’s infrastructure.
Page, who was named the 2017 University of Minnesota Entrepreneur of the Year, is a pioneer in the male-dominated global investment industry. She is a member of the Committee of 200, an organization of some of the world’s most successful women business leaders.
Prior to founding Värde, Page served as vice president of EBF & Associates, an alternative investment management firm, and worked at Cargill, trading distressed and high-yield bonds and managing fixed- income portfolios.
Page has a BA in Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MBA from the Carlson School. She serves on the Carlson School Board of Overseers and the Board of Trustees at Gustavus Adolphus, as well as several private company boards and investment committees.
