The Business Advancement Center for Health is pleased to hold the 6th annual UMN Interdisciplinary Health Data Competition, where graduate students from diverse disciplines collaborate to tackle real-world healthcare challenges using data science. Participants are asked to explore datasets, develop innovative solutions, and present their insights to sponsors and judges. Cash awards are presented to the top three placing teams!
- Registration: NOW - December 15
Register as a team or an individual and we will form a team for you. - Competition Kick-off: February 4 (virtual)
This is when we announce the required data set and the challenge. - Project Submission Deadline: February 16, 11:59 p.m.
Teams must submit their analysis as a one-page Executive Summary and PowerPoint presentation (20 slides max), including a presentation voice-over (max 20 min). - Round 1 Judging: February 17 - 18 - 19
Sit back and relax. This is when our judges review all the projects and select the top 4 teams. - Final Presentations: February 26
Top 4 teams present in-person to a panel of judges. All teams are invited.
