MBA Students
The Carlson Consulting Enterprise is a unique management consultancy and academic program that brings the brightest student minds to bear on significant business challenges for premier companies. MBA student participants undergo an intensive, collaborative, and rewarding learning experience guided by Enterprise directors and client organizations.
The Consulting Enterprise Experience
Each MBA student consultant will join a team of 4-6 students who work together to complete three consulting projects throughout 2.5 semesters. Participants receive one-on-one coaching and mentorship from Consulting Enterprise directors; get weekly opportunities to interact with clients; and develop structured problem solving and management skills.

Selection Process
Consulting Enterprise participation is open to students enrolled in the Full-Time Carlson MBA Programs. Students’ major areas of study and professional experience vary. Interested students apply in the first semester of the MBA Program, and are assigned to one of four Carlson Enterprise Programs based on their skills and preferences, pending availability.

Enterprise Directors
Each Consulting Enterprise team is coached by a director who provides supportive, practical guidance based on decades of experience in management consulting and industry roles. The directors have designed a curriculum to develop students' familiarity with and skills in structured problem solving and consulting. Directors also meet with teams weekly to provide project-specific advice and support students' professional development.

Advisory Board
The Consulting Enterprise Advisory Board is comprised of local leaders who span a variety of industries and functions and play an integral role in students' experiences. They are dedicated to helping connect students with career resources, and provide group mentoring and project advice during semi-annual meetings.
