Business Board

Business Board is the undergraduate student government body of the Carlson School. The group sets policies that govern student organizations. Members give back to the Carlson School community by serving on committees and planning community events.

Case Competitions

Case Competitions

Carlson students have many opportunities to participate in case competitions locally and compete in national & international teams. In a case competition, students strive to develop the best solution to a real business problem within an allocated time frame, on a cross-functional team of peers. Students develop skills in critical thinking, action-oriented implementation, and professional business presentations.

Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors share Gopher pride with prospective students and parents at special events, campus tours and recruitment activities, all while developing leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

Enterprises

Enterprises

The Enterprises are four programs that offer a experiential learning experience for a limited number of undergraduate students. The Enterprises (Brands, Consulting, Ventures and Funds) present students with real-life projects to apply what they are learning in the classroom. The Enterprises are highly selective and are multiple semester commitments that students typically engage in during their junior and senior years.

Peer Career Coaches

The Peer Career Coaches in the Undergraduate Business Career share first-hand internship and career search expertise with fellow students. Becoming a Peer Career Coach allows you to connect with others, develop your counseling skills and give back to the Carlson School community.
