We know interviewing for a job can be stressful, especially as you manage the logistics of being a full-time student. The UBCC is home to 22 different interview spaces that our corporate partners can utilize to bring their interview to you. This is a great resource for students who are actively seeking internships and full-time careers while also maintaining a rigorous and active academic schedule.
The UBCC offers exclusive Career Fairs annually in both the fall and spring semesters. These events are largely attended by sophomores and juniors but provide opportunities for engagement for first-year students and graduating seniors. In the fall of 2017, more than 140 companies participated and more than 1200 students attended.
Information sessions are held during fall and spring semesters, usually in conjunction with on-campus interviewing. Information sessions can be structured as panel discussions, question and answer sessions, or networking hours. Students register for these events, which take place within the Carlson School or Hanson Hall.
Snack stops are informal tabling opportunities that many of our corporate partners utilize. These casual events are hosted in the Carlson School cafeteria and allow students the chance to connect with a recruiter or staffer, discuss timelines and processes for job applications, and learn more about a company and what they are seeking from a future employee or intern.
