Key Events and Engagement
The UBCC is a resource that provides students, whether in their first semester at the Carlson School or graduating in the weeks ahead, opportunities to prepare for their future career paths. Programming ranges from large-scale programming to smaller individualized programs. Find information about these events and many more in The Edge.
Career Week is offered annually in the weeks prior to our fall career fair. Programs are offered throughout the week that provide our students with resources focused on their resumes, networking, and interview preparation.
Major Fest is hosted for students who are wanting to engage and learn about the various majors available to them and how they intersect with various career paths.
The First Year and Second Year Conference is for students to have an increased confidence in their choice of major/minor and to help start building relationships with alumni. This event creates space for networking, individualized learning, and self-reflection.
Carlson to Career Treks
Carlson to Career Treks feature on-site company visits and are a great way to explore career paths and organizations, and build networking connections.
The Carlson School hosts a fall and spring career fair that is open to our undergraduate students. Fairs are designed to allow companies and students to spend time networking, learning about opportunities, and to identifying the various pathways each company offers to our students.
