The Carlson School Undergraduate Program enrolls approximately 2,600 students from around the world, across the nation, and our own backyard of Minnesota. We welcome a class of 550+ freshman and 200+ transfer students each fall. Choose from the options below to learn about the admissions process specific to your situation.

    • Freshman Students

      High school seniors who have not enrolled in any college courses after graduating from high school.

    • Transfer Students

      Students who have enrolled at a college or university—including the University of Minnesota—after graduation from high school.

    • Returning Students

      Former Carlson School students who are looking to return after a leave of absence, academic suspension, or inactive status. 

    • International Students

      Students who are not U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or refugees and are on a temporary visa or require a visa to study in the United States.
