The Carlson School has over $600,000 available to support students who will be sophomores, juniors, and seniors each fall. Awards range from $1,000 to $7,500 for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The application was available beginning March 1 and the deadline to apply was March 16, 2018, at 11:59 PM. Scholarships are awarded based on a holistic review of contributions to the Carlson School of Management and overall collegiate experience at the University of Minnesota, professional accomplishments, academic merits, and personal narrative.
Award recipients will be notified via email on Friday, May 4, 2018.

Students enrolled full-time at the Carlson School of Management who will be sophomore, junior, or senior level by fall 2018.
The scholarship application will be available beginning Thursday, March 1. In order to be considered for a scholarship, students need to have submitted their completed applications no later than FRIDAY, MARCH 16, 2018 at 11:59 P.M.
Students will be notified via email no later than May 4, 2018 about all scholarship decisions.
Consideration: Every completed application is reviewed by the Scholarship Review Committee to ensure a holistic and thorough process. In most cases, preference will be given to students who have not already received an award for the upcoming academic year.
Primary factors include: contributions to the Carlson School of Management and overall collegiate experience, professional accomplishments, academic merits and personal narrative.
For some awards, factors may include financial need, year of study and/or major.

Optional: Goldman Scholarship Essay ($5000): What is the role of capitalism and the free enterprise system in creating a society with the highest amount of freedom in history? (500-750 words)
