Careers

The Master of Business Taxation (MBT) program at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management has been a cornerstone of graduate tax education for over 40 years, thanks to founder Fred Jacobs, adjunct faculty, alumni, students, and friends. Current MBT Director Paul Gutterman has been an anchor in providing teaching excellence to the program.

Alumni Achievements

Many of our graduates hold number two positions at two of the "big four" accounting firms (Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, and KPMG). Many others hold top positions as senior corporate tax executives, managing tax partners, and even one state senator.
