University Internet Account

Your University Internet Account (also referred to as University Internet ID or x500) provides secure access to most University of Minnesota services. This account provides access to e-mail as well as course registration, grades, financial information, and many other services. It is also to log into WebVista as well to gain wireless internet access.

If you have received your Student Identification number from the CEMBA Program Office and have not yet initialized your account, go to: Follow the instructions on the page to initiate your acount.

Note: you will receive an e-mail from the CEMBA Program Office with your University Student ID. The e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided in your application.

Please remember or write down in a safe place the password you create for your University account as you will need use it often. Only the Central University Help Desk can change it for you should you forget it. They can be reached at 612-301-4357.

Accessing and Forwarding your University E-mail account

Once your University Internet Account is initalized, please check your account for new e-mail. To check your e-mail please visit the University Email page and use your University Internet ID (x.500) and your newly created password.

If you wish to forward your UMN e-mail account to an outside account (personal email account, business, etc), please follow these instructions.

*** Please Note: You are responsible for receiving and reading all emails sent to your University E-mail address... especially those sent from the CEMBA Program Office. Some corporations do block emails from our listserve - please remember this if you are thinking of forwarding your University e-mail account to a work e-mail.
